How to Promote Your Onlyfans Anonymously
If you want to be anonymous on your Onlyfans page, we understand! There are many reasons why you’d want to promote your Onlyfans without showing face, and no matter what that reason may be, we’re here to help you succeed as a faceless Onlyfans creator. We at The Peach have years of experience in the field, and so we have a lot of tips and tricks we want to share with you on how to promote your Onlyfans anonymously.
Being on the platform may clash with a day job, and in many jobs, it may not be suitable to have Onlyfans as a second job (even though it may not specifically say so in your contract), so choosing to be faceless on the platform will help you avoid this problem.
You might be shy and embarrassed about having an Onlyfans account or scared of getting judged by other people. Even though we live in a society where sex work and acceptance of doing whatever you want with your body is becoming more acceptable, it can still feel weird to do so in the beginning.
Maybe you don’t want your family and friends to see your content. You do have the possibility to GEO-block (block people in your country to access your profile), but this can rule out a large portion of your potential audience.
We want to mention as well that not showing your face on Onlyfans (or really in any type of adult content creation) makes it harder to succeed. Often the fans want to see all of you, what you look like, and your facial expressions when you create content. That’s why the top adult content creators or porn stars never (or very rarely) are faceless. But honestly, if you’re insecure, unsure, or don’t want anybody to find out who you are, you can definitely succeed with being faceless. Let us tell you how.
How to Promote Onlyfans Without Showing Face
Creating content
In this first part, we’ll go through the most important and, for sure, the hardest part about being faceless. If you want to continue to stay anonymous all the way through and at the same time continue to grow your page and make money, you have to think your content through. It’s complicated knowing how to promote your Onlyfans anonymously, to begin with.
Talking to other faceless creators on Onlyfans, many thought it’d be just as simple as it seemed for those showing faces. But in reality, neither of them is easy, and not showing face means you’ll have to work even harder. Why? You might be wondering. Well, first off: you’ll have to start from 0 with social media following – you can’t promote yourself anywhere where you today have followers, and if your body is not really the beauty standard or you have a specific niche, it’s going to be hard to promoting all of your content solely based off your body. But basically, anything that focuses on a specific body part, or isn’t common can work. It makes the face less meaningful in the big picture.
Positions
With posing, you can face the camera and turn your face away, have your back to the camera, or even use your hair to cover your face. Get creative. You won’t be able to use all the positions or angles that you’ll see others using because in most cases this will expose, if not all of it, parts of your face. There are different approaches you can take though – use a mask that covers all of, or parts of your face, only show your body in videos (record shoulders down), or blur in an editing program, to mention a few.
Hiding Your Face with Masks
You have different options depending on how much of your face you want to hide. What really reveals who you are and what you look like is hard to say, but the more you hide, the less chance of being recognized. Sometimes you might want to create content where you don’t have to record only shoulders down. If you want to be able to move freely in the video – then you should invest in a sexy mask.
Consider investing in a mask already from the start. This will make you feel more comfortable when you’re creating content if you’re having video calls, or just don’t feel like hiding your whole head all the time. If you don’t feel like buying one you can also just use a ski mask or a face mask (those we used during the pandemic). Both of those will hide your identity pretty well.

Blurring
Blurring is a tool great for covering up only specific parts of a photo. It’s also a good way to either hide parts of, or your whole face. It’s definitely not the sexiest or easiest way, but it works. At the beginning of your Onlyfans career, this could be a great option for you because you won’t have to pay for accessories to hide your face, which you’ll be able to use only for that purpose. If you however pay for Creative Cloud, you’ll get both Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop, and both of those will be of big help when you’re editing photos and videos. They may look complicated in the beginning, but they’re actually very easy to use, and you will only need to know the basics to look like a pro.
If you for example have a photo where your whole body and head are visible, but you also want your hair and all of the background to show, then blurring in Photoshop can easily be done.
- Open your photo in Photoshop and unlock the layer.
- Select the Elliptical Marquee Tool
- Mark the area that you want to blur by clicking and dragging.
- Go to Filter – Blur – Gaussian Blur.
- Adjust the number of pixels (amount of blur) until you’re happy.
If you for example have a photo where your whole body and head are visible, but you also want your hair and all of the background to show, then blurring in Photoshop can easily be done.
Staying Anonymous
Editing
Editing away things that people can easily identify you through such as tattoos, moles, scars, etc., is important for staying anonymous. You may have one of these that’s very unique and can give away your identity. To avoid that you’ll need to find a suitable solution for removing or hiding them.
We would recommend using editing as your way to do it, but there are of course other things you can do as well such as cover up with makeup, but for that, you’ll need a really good foundation and it can be pricey. Of course, you may also need to pay for a program for editing, but you will probably use the program every day when working with Onlyfans. It also takes more time to use makeup to cover rather than just opening up Photoshop and in a minute you’ll have edited away a small tattoo.
For photos, this is relatively easy if you know how Photoshop works. For videos, you can just use a long-sleeved shirt to cover your tattoos, of course, if you have tattoos somewhere else, you’ll have to figure out some other way to hide them. If it’s on your leg it’s harder than on your arm, and the smaller the easier to hide. Be creative and see what other creators do to manage this.
Here’s how you can edit away a tattoo in a photo:
- Open your photo in Photoshop and unlock the layer.
- Choose the Spot Healing Brush Tool and make it content-aware (Photoshop will select details from the surrounding areas of the image to fill in the area you selected).
- Adjust the brush size and start to just click on the tattoo to remove it.
- Start with the inner part of the tattoo, and when you’re at the edge of the arm – zoom in and make the brush size smaller. This helps you make it nicer around the edges.
- Now you’re done, and you can just export your photo as you’d like, PNG or JPEG.
Check your backgrounds
Being anonymous is not only about hiding your face or other identifiable features on your body. If you’re truly serious about wanting to stay anonymous you’ll also need to make sure that nothing in your surroundings can reveal your identity – framed pictures, anything that can reveal your language or country, etc. Even a small thing such as the outlet on your wall can tell where you are – not an exact location but if you’re from the US or Europe, for example. It all comes down to how picky and careful you want to be with hiding your identity.
When shooting content, make sure you don’t have a family photo hanging in the background, or leave letters or documents in the camera shot. Make sure your background is clean and clutter-free. You’ll wanna change the scenery from time to time to make your content look more unique, but be careful when you do, and take a look in the camera at how it looks before pressing record.
Double-check so that your face is not mirrored in anything such as a window that you’re standing in front of while recording. Make sure you look this through very carefully before hitting record to avoid having to do unnecessary editing or even re-do it. It’s, of course, possible to blur out parts later in some editing programs such as Premiere Pro, but to save time you should do it as simple as possible from the start.
Privacy
When creating your faceless Onlyfans profile you need to have a separate everything for that account. These things should not include anything that can tie you to your real self. This includes an email address that you will use to sign up for both Onlyfans and your social media accounts that you’ll be using to promote your Onlyfans anonymously. The email address can include your stage name or just something random, as long as you don’t have anything from your real life, name, birthdate, etc.
Use strong and unique passwords for every account that you make, with at least 12 characters, including both numbers and symbols, mixed with upper- and lowercase. Turn on two-factor authentication! Simply put: make it as hard as you possibly can for anyone else to access your account. Make sure you also store these passwords somewhere safe and preferably don’t name the document “Onlyfans passwords”.
Removing metadata
Removing metadata in your content before uploading it or sending it to someone is just as important as any other part of staying anonymous when promoting your Onlyfans. Photo- and video metadata is the information and specific details concerning a particular file. This information often includes the date created, author, file name, content, themes, and more. It happens even if you take a photo with a camera or your phone. When you take photos with your iPhone, for example, nearly every photo will have information about the creation date, camera information, and even your location.
You can do this easily to both your photos and videos by once again using Adobe Photoshop (for photos) and Premiere Pro (for videos).
How to Promote Onlyfans Secretly
Create a Persona
Don’t feel obligated to show your face, ever. Some fans will ask why you’re not doing it, offer you a bit more money to do so, or maybe just pressure you into sending “just one selfie”. If you have any hesitation, don’t do it. You can not go back, but if you do change your mind further ahead in your Onlyfans career, then you can do it when you’re more comfortable.
Stage name
A big part of how to promote your Onlyfans anonymously is you’re going to need a stage name. This can be a very basic name or even a typical stripper’s name. Everything from naming your persona Emma to Crystal. Don’t overthink it too much though, choose something that is easy to remember, and even better if it has a ring to it. If you can, find a name that you’ll be able to use across all of your social media platforms and where the handle is available for them on for example Instagram and TikTok, or wherever you’re planning on promoting your Onlyfans.
Personal information
You’ll wanna keep your personal information to yourself, but you’ll need to have some for your persona as well. When you’re going to be chatting with your fans, they’re gonna ask you questions about yourself, where you’re from, what you like to do, etc. It’s good if you have some information for your persona in mind when creating it so that you’re ready for questions about “yourself”.
For example; you’re from the UK, but you’re a faceless and anonymous creator, so you choose to say that you live in the USA. Other information about yourself such as what you like to do in your free time you can just be genuine about, as long as it’s common stuff such as watching series, doing sports, or something else that can’t tie you to your real self. Maybe don’t say you play tennis on a professional level if that’s something you do, because that might reveal your real identity.
Research
You also want to do some research before deciding on your persona. This will be of huge help when trying to figure out what your target audience is and how to promote your Onlyfans anonymously. This will, of course, be a bit different from regular persona research because you will need to find what you can offer your potential customers with what you have.
So, say you’re a blond, with a lot of curves, but your main thing is your big booty; there will likely be a big audience out there for you seeing as you do have the typical hourglass figure with a big behind. With this big audience and your body type, it will also mean a lot of competition. A lot of girls today do have this type of body because it’s today’s ideal. So, you will either just have to go with it or find a niche that you can promote yourself with.
Suppose you’re a plus-sized redhead with not that big of a booty but bigger boobs instead.
This is, of course, also very common and the potential fans are many, but you do have something to niche yourself in already. You will be able to advertise yourself as the “hottest red-head plus size woman out here”. This however doesn’t mean you won’t have to work hard or that having a niche is unnecessary.
You also want to promote your anonymous Onlyfans in the right places. We have made blog posts about how to promote your Onlyfans on Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram.
Finding a niche
So, how do you find a good niche? Well, first you gotta start off by deciding whether or not your content is going to be soft porn or X-rated stuff. This depends on what you’re comfortable with, and don’t worry, there will be people out there looking for both. You can also start with soft and then work your way to more intense stuff if you want to in the future.
Example keywords of some soft niches that you can use to promote yourself are sensual, Soft, R-rated, Real, Erotic, and Romantic.
Example keywords of some hardcore niches that you can use for promoting yourself: Hardcore, XXX, X-rated, Hard, Hot.
Then there are also keywords for the things you are going to do on your Onlyfans, for example, Feet pics, Anal, B/G, G/G, Threesomes, Solo female masturbation, Blowjobs, Handjobs, etc. There are a lot of different categories, so choose them wisely and try only promoting the ones that are popular and that you’re actually going to post and are comfortable doing.
When we say promoting we mean what you’re going to write in your social media bios (the ones that do accept this stuff), on your linktree, but most importantly your Onlyfans profile: the first thing your subscribers see before deciding whether or not to subscribe to you. So make sure you have something that’ll make them want to pay to see more. Of course, you won’t be able to catch all the fish out there, but that’s why having a niche is so good: the ones that are really into, say Anal, will pay their fair share of money to get to see it. And if they also get to talk to a nice girl, feel like they’re getting to know you, they’ll be spending even more money.
How to Promote Onlyfans Without Family Knowing
Keep it Spicy
When not showing your face, the type of content that you choose to publish becomes more important because you won’t be able to shoot from all angles, show your facial expressions, or even make all the content that you may want to do.
As a faceless content creator, you’ll need to spice it up by changing a lot between different positions, angles, clothing, lingerie, accessories, hairstyles, and other things – get creative! Of course, you don’t need to spend loads of money in the beginning, it’s enough if you get creative with what you already have at home. We’re sure you have at least two or three different lingerie sets, so use them, to begin with, and take help from other things to change things up – jewelry, socks, manicure, pedicure, etc.
You could also try changing up your hairstyle from time to time by curling, making waves, having braids, adding some barrettes, flowers, pearls, bandana, or whatever you have at home. Borrow from friends, sister, or mom. Buy stuff that you also could see yourself wearing in your everyday life.
Checklist
We have made a short checklist of the most important stuff you should remember to do from this guide:
- Create a new email address
- GEO-block countries
- Create your persona: Stage name, personality, interests, etc.
- Do research
- Find your niche/USP
